The Duanwu Festival, also known as the Dragon Boat Festival, is celebrated on the 5th day of the 5th month of the lunar calendar. This traditional Chinese holiday honors the poet Qu Yuan and includes activities such as dragon boat racing and eating zongzi (sticky rice dumplings).
